VIP trip to the USA
A leading commercial banker at RBS International in Gibraltar has been recognised for his record in excellence by his employer and has won a coveted Outstanding Achievement Award.
John Treacy is one of the winners who have been selected from around 5,500 nominations from across the RBS group’s Corporate Banking division. John will travel to Boston, USA, next month where he will be treated to a VIP four day stay alongside his fellow winners, who work mainly for the Bank in the UK.
The trip culminates in a Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony, during which Alan Dickinson, Chief Executive of the RBS group’s UK Corporate Banking division, will name the ‘Banker of
the Year’.
John, who has more than 30 years’ commercial banking experience, has worked for the RBS group for four years.
Amongst his achievements for RBS International in Gibraltar has been the re-structuring of a cash management structure for a leading local company, the execution of the largest property development loan RBS International has written locally and has won several new major business connections despite tough competition.
Marvin Cartwright, Regional Head of Corporate Banking for RBS International in Gibraltar, said: ‘As a result of real customer focus, John continues to have one of the strongest reputations as a top commercial banker in the local marketplace. Gibraltar is one of the key growth areas for RBS International and it is great to see John’s vital role in this being recognised. I hope the Boston trip provides John with just reward for working so hard for his customers, and demonstrates to him just how highly valued he is by the Bank.
