The Chamber of Commerce welcomes Mr Mike Nicholls who was elected to the Chamber board at the Chamber’s AGM on Thursday 12th April.
At a well-attended meeting the President, Mr Nicholas Russo, who was also re-elected at the meeting, welcomed Mr Nicholls to the Chamber board and looked forward to his contributions in helping the Chamber members in matters relating to property and finance.
Mike Nicholls replaces Bruno Callaghan, who was President of the Chamber from 1999 – 2002. Mr Russo said that he wished to thank Mr Callaghan for the contribution he had made over the years both as President and as a board director.
In his address to the members Mr Russo said that the Chamber had had an extremely busy year on many fronts. After the formal business of the meeting was concluded Mr Russo asked his fellow board members to lead the discussions on a range of issues which are currently affecting the Chamber’s members. These included Online Gaming, Tourism, Eastside Bunkering, Power Generation, Business Costs and the Economy.
