Copywrite’s Kelly-Anne runs the Chicago Marathon

Let me first set the scene with a couple of headlines from two American newspapers….
‘Man dies in heat-shortened marathon’ Chicago Tribune.
‘Death, Havoc and Heat mar Chicago Race’ New York Times.
Not an ideal time, as my friend Lisa put it, “to pop your marathon cherry!” Although conditions were far from perfect, I still managed to complete 26.2 miles (a full marathon) in 4.59 (just under five hours) and from my gruelling 4 hours and 59 minutes of endurance I have learnt one thing; I don’t like to run.

Local racing driver goes from strength

Marrache & Co have long sponsored the hugely talented young local racing driver, Tom Gladdis, who was in the formula BMW World Finals in Valencia.
Buoyed by his good results in the Asian test sessions Tom headed off to Valencia for the Formula BMW world finals in late November.

Here he achieved 17th position, not bad for a young man who won’t be 17 until next February 2008.

Tom has been in Talks with both Asian and American racing teams with the aim of choosing a team with whom he can race next year.

We wish him all the best for up coming season.
