Focusing on Corporate Finance and Transaction Support services, Deloitte’s specialised FAS team would provide, among other services, M&A due-diligence and deal structuring; initial public offerings; preparation of business plans and economic valuations; advisory on private equity and institutional financing and more.

The new move has been described by Stephen Reyes, Managing Partner as “a further step towards offering specialised services to meet our clients’ business and financial needs.”

The launch of the new services has been complemented by the arrival of Mr. Eran Shay who has joined Deloitte Gibraltar from Deloitte Tel Aviv, Israel where he has worked for over 8 years, serving as a Senior Manager in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) group.

Eran Shay has many years of experience in the fields of Corporate Finance and Transaction Support: he has led several Initial Public Offerings of Israeli companies on the London AIM and Main Stock Exchanges, as part of Deloitte’s role as Reporting Accountant and has been involved in numerous M&A transactions, from target screening, through duediligence to financial closure. Coming from the highly entrepreneurial Israeli market, Eran also specialises in the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies and venturecapital fund raising for both startups and mature companies in a variety of industries including: telecommunications, technology, financial services, real estate, e-business, life sciences, hospitality, and more.

Pizza Hut Gibraltar turns the tables on fast food image

Pizza Hut in Casemates Square is open from ( 12.00 to 10.30 Mon – thur and 12.00 to 11.00 weekends). In a bid to position itself as a family restaurant catering to all tastes and to shake off the stigma attached to fast food outlets in general, Pizza Hut in Gibraltar has recently introduced a varied menu that sees the addition of healthy eating options, pasta dishes and meat to its traditional, mainly pizzafocused menu.

Freshly made pasta with a wide range of home-made customised sauces, ribs, chicken and mouth-watering vegetarian dishes are now offered alongside the established pizza menu, which has seen the introduction of new exotic flavours and toppings.

The popular buffet and salad bar are now not available after 5.30 pm and have been replaced with a new, wide range of salads with the freshest ingredients as well as a variety of delicious dressings, ready to tempt the evening customer.

The restaurant itself has been given a complete overhaul to create a cosier dining experience, with softer lighting, ambient music and more comfortable seating. A variety of wines, desserts and fresh coffee are now on offer, encouraging diners to take their time over their meal.

Commenting on this change in direction, Operations Manager Ginny Cooper says “By changing our look and expanding our menu we are providing an all-encompassing alternative dining experience to the people of Gibraltar, while not alienating our faithful clientele who come back time and again for the most delicious pizzas in town!”

Pizza Hut in Casemates Square is open from ( 12.00 to 10.30 Mon – thur and 12.00 to 11.00 weekends).
