Airline News Summer 2010 – A Preview

EasyJet (EZY)

The low cost carrier is now offering seats on its services for next summer and the schedule shows a considerable reduction to that offered in the peak season of 2009. The airline will offer a single daily flight from London Gatwick (LGW) on the following schedule:

Mon-Fri EZY8903 LGW-GIB 1000-1350 Mon-Fri EZY8904 GIB-LGW 1425-1610

Sat-Sun EZY8901 LGW-GIB 0715-1105 Sat-Sun EZY8902 GIB-LGW 1140-1325

British Airways (BA)

BA will continue to operate a single daily flight to London Heathrow (T3) (LHR) but the flight has been retimed to leave London in the early morning. This is a positive move for the many passengers who are keen to make connections at Heathrow. The schedule:

Daily BA490 LHR-GIB 0755-1150 Daily BA491 GIB-LHR BA491 1240-1435

Monarch (ZB)

Monarch’s three weekly flights to Manchester (MAN) will continue to operate to the same current schedule – an early morning departure from Manchester with a return to the UK at lunchtime. The timetable to London Luton (LTN) will be increased and the service will operate daily as follows:
